OVERLOOK AT OAKBROOK
DCS Midwest is proud to be responsible for the construction of The Overlook at Oakbrook development located in Oakbrook, IL. This property was originally home to a 70,000 sqft precast Macy’s furniture building, which DCS demolished to make room for the new state-of-the-art retail center. The center consists of four freestanding single-tenant buildings and three multi-tenant buildings, totaling 54,000 sqft of new construction spanning over 8.5 acres of new site development. Introducing Goodwill in Chicago
DCS Midwest is flying steel at their Goodwill project located at 3558 N Spaulding in Chicago’s Avondale / Irving Park neighborhood. In overview the project consists of the demolition of a 30,000 square foot manufacturing building, complete site re-development and erection of a 17,000 square foot, masonry and steel building for GW Properties and their tenant Goodwill Industries. Due to the previous use, close proximity of adjacent buildings, structures and utilities, DCS worked with through multiple issues impacting the project’s progress with the shell building design team of Design Studio 24 and Goodwill’s development and construction teams, Ott Development and Perspective Design, Inc.
